August 15th in Chinese Lunar Calendar is the Mid- Autumn Day. It is one of the most important traditional festivals in China. It was snow just now, there are lots of snow in the sky. The rivers are stopping flowing. The ground is covered with a layer of snow. My favourite season is autumn. When autumn comes, the weather is very cool and there is much wind. Autumn is a harvest season. Farmers are busy getting in crops. They are tired but very happy. I like autumn. I like playing basketball, football and table tennis. I also like playing tennis. I like playing games with my good friends. I like skipping, too. At weekends, I like to skip and fly kites with my best friend. We have a good time. I like winter best. One of the most important reasons is that Spring Festival comes at this time of the year. Autumn is a season of harvest. The crops turn to rip. Farmers are busy with the harvest. And they begin to prepare for the winter and the New Year. Sometimes I climb the hills with my parents in autumn. We take a lot of food with us, such as hamburgers, eggs, bread and so on .We also take a camera with us. We have a picnic on the hill. We also take many pictures. We feel very happy. Autumn is the third season in the year. It lasts from September to November. When the autumn comes, the leaves begin to turn yellow and then fall. The weather becomes cool. I am on the snow. The snow is cold. I have a scarf and coat. So I am not cold. I like the Christmas. Because I can see Santa Claus in Christmas. Christmas tree is beautiful. Today is Childrens Day, I go to the zoo with my mom. There are many animals in the zoo. I like the monkeys, and give two bananas to them. And the ducks are very happy, they find fish in the river. At last, we go home happily! In last summer vacation, we went to the Forbidden City. We also went to Wangfujing Street where we tasted much delicious food. We had a great time during the vacation and learned a lot from this tour. I had a wonderful summer holiday this year. I went to the zoo with my sister. I was very happy. Because I saw a lot of animals. They were very lovely. So I took photos of all animals. I liked the butterflies best. They were colourful and beautiful. I went to Hainan Island with my parents for a holiday and we stayed there for a week. It took us only more than three hours to get to Haikou airport. We enjoyed the warm sunshine and the soft wind. We walked on the beach and picked up the beautiful shells. We also played ball games on the beach. In last summer vacation, I went to Beijing with my family. First, we went to the Great Wall, where we met a lot of foreigners and we also took a lot of photos. They all like our culture and beautiful senery. We also went to the summer palace, where the previous emporers spent summer in the old days. It was a long holiday. I went to Hong Kong with my parents on May 1st. We went by train and got to Hong Kong in the afternoon. On the 2nd, we went to Disney s Land. On the 3rd, we went to a restaurant and ate good food. It was yummy. On the 4th, we went to a zoo and saw many animals. On the 5th, we went shopping and bought many clothes. They were nice. I bought some gifts for my friends, too.
