4、hers, “He/ She is happy/sad now.” D: I ask another group of chilren, “Were you happy yesterday?” When a child answers“Yes, I was happy.”I will remind chilrenthattheywenttothemartyrscemetery yesterday. I show their two pictures in the martyrs cemetery. “The martyrs died for our freedom and happies. S

5、o we should be sad yesterday.” E: I ask chilren again, “Were you happy yesterday?” F: Lets see a famous play , face-change. Do you know it ? It is very famous in Sichuan. G: 1)I play the flash of Activity 1 for children to look and listen. 2) I play it again, and children imitate. 3) Chilren read it

6、 together. And I write sad, happy, angry on the four line lattice on the left part of the white board. 4) I ask chilren to tell other adjectives learned in last unit, Bored. 10、gry,thirsty, happy on right part. 10) I locate the PPT to the“The change of Zaras feelings” and children make their choices. 11) I locate the PPT to the “Listen ,read and answer questions” and chilren answer the questions again. AcivityIV To extend 1) I show PPT9 “Lets make a fish map of thinking”,

11、I show some bulets with key words, chilren retell the story. 2) To show PPT10, “Think more about Zara”, children talk about and answer the questions in group: Did Zara help her mum at home? Yes,she did. Did Zara drink cola when she was thirsty? No,she didnt. Did Zara play in the rain? No,she didnt.
