Book 3 Unit 5 My Body 第一课时第一课时 Teaching Aims 1.语言技能目标: (1) 能够正确地听说读写表示身体部位的的单词 eye/eyes, ear/ears, nose, mouth, hand/hands, arm/arms, leg/legs, foot/feet。 (2)能听懂动作指令“Touch your nose!” “Open your mouth!” “Close your eyes!”并作出反应。 (3)能在教师的引导下做英语游戏并进行简单的交际。 2.语言知识目标: (1)了解本课新单词中相关字母组合的发音,理解名词单复数的用法和祈 使句的用法。 (2)能够谈论身体部位这个话题。 3.情感态度目标: (1)使学生敢于开口说英语,体会英语学习的乐趣。 (2)培养学生积极参与小组合作学习的能力。 (3)了解人们身体各部位的作用,教育学生要爱惜身体,加强锻炼,增强 体质。 (4)通过介绍外国童话故事,学生有接触外国文化的意识。 Teaching Procedures I. Warming-up 1. Greetings 2. Sing a song: Head and Shoulders II. Presentation 1. Lead in: Unit 5 My Body 2. PPT shows a picture of many wooden clocks and introduce Geppetto. T: What are these? Ss: They are clocks. T: Yes, they are made by Geppetto. Geppetto can make different things. He has no children, so he wants to make a puppet. But he is very tired now. He needs help. Can you help him? 3. Learn the new words: Make Pinocchio Point to the body part one by one, learn the corresponding word. 4. Read the words together: VideoParts of body 5. Draw clowns T: We have a Pinocchio now. Can you make a new puppy? I asked you to design a puppy yesterday. Have you done it? Now take it out, and write down the words of body parts. T:(After Ss finished their writing)You did a very good job! Look at Pinocchio. Can he speak? Can he dance? 6. Learn the target sentences: Fairy comes and makes Pinocchio alive. Play the disc, have Ss repeat the sentences and do actions. III. Practice 1. Group-work Put Ss into groups of four. Give each group four cards with characters on them. Ask Ss to choose a role. The one who is the boss of the circus say out the orders, the other three Ss listen and do the actions. Ss can take turns to be the boss. 2. Sing a song: If you are happy 3. Rewrite the lyrics of the song If you are happy Ask Ss to rewrite the lyrics using the target sentences learnt today. IV. Sum up Sum up what we learn today. Ask Ss to read the word of body part and target sentences. Play the video of Eyes, ears, mouth and nose, have Ss repeat. Then have Ss sing the song Touch your nose. V. Homework Ss have two choices, Homework A and Homework B. They choose one to finish. A:用身边的物品制作一个创意身体并对作品加以说明,写出各个身 体部位的单词 B:发挥想象力,在一个圆上添加身体部位,变成一个新形象
