This song includes the seven days of a week. Make Ss know there are seven days in a week and could speak them in Engl

    4、ish. . Presentation 1. Vocabulary (1)Getting ready Play the song weeks again and encourage Ss speak out the vocabulary: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Put picture cards up on the board when they get the points. T: (point to Sunday) Its Sunday. Repeat. Ss: Its Sunday.

    5、 Continue with the other days of the week. T: All the days together make one week. (Show picture card). Ss: week. (2) Using the book T: open your books to page 10. Listen to the tape and repeat. Point to each day as you say it. Play the tape and have Ss repeat each day of the week. For the word week

    6、, have Ss circle a week on the calendar in the picture. T: is it Wednesday? (Point to the Saturday.) Ss: no, it isnt. Its Saturday. T: Is it Monday?(point to Monday.) Ss: yes, it is. Model if necessary. Point to other days of the week and ask similar questions. (3) Main points Pay attention to the a

    7、bbreviation of the days. Use “on” in front of the days: on Monday, on Tuesday . (4) Practice Teacher says out the patterns in a low voice and asks the students model in a high voice. Little teacher: Ask some Ss to be little teacher to do the highlow voice game. Homework 1. Write the new words. 2. Listen the tape and review the target and conversation.
