Step2 Presentation T: Its spring in China. Do you think its also spring in all over the world? This country has a different season from China. Look and guess which country it is. 1.Make Ss look at the pictures on PPT and learn the word: Australia. 2.Simply talk something about Australia. 3.Show P8-9 and talk about the picture with Ss by asking the questions. What season is it in the picture? Who is the new boy? Which country is he from? 4.Ask students to listen to the tape and answer the questions: Who is Reg? Why is he in China? Is the weather in China same to the one in Australia? 1.Look, guess and learn the word: Australia. 2.Ss talk what they know about Australia. 3.Talk abut the picture: what are the children doing? What season is it? Who is new ? Process Indicator 通过谈论图片,学生对课文有所了解。通过对中国和澳大利亚对比,学生基本上对两国的季节 有所了解。 Step3 Practice 1.Set a purpose and present questions for reading the passage What season is it in Australia?
