Knowledge objectives: (1)by the end of the lesson, my students should be able to master the usage of the sound”ar al” and can write the words correctly. (2) The students can understand the content of the lesson and master the writing form of English words. . 2. Language ability objectives: (1) by the end of the lesson, my students should be able to familiar with phonics. (2) To train the students abilities of studying by themselves and cooperating. 3. Affective objectives: by the end of the lesson, my students should increase their interest in learning English and set up self-confidence in speaking English. III: focal and difficult points. The focal points: The students will be able to say and know the sound of letter ”ar,al”. They can spell the words such as arm tall card The difficult points : The students can use phonics to spell some new words such as farm,cart IV preparation PPT, word cards. V procedure 1. Warm-up / review (5minutes) (1)Sing a phonics song together. (2) spell the words with letter ”er” “ir” ”ur” 2.Presentation (20minutes) Step 1: present the words of car and card arm T:whats this? Its a car. Where is the car? Its on the card. Step 2: 呈现单词,让学生自己发现规律。呈现单词,让学生自己发现规律。 ar ar /a:/ Step 3 spell the new words. Step 4 guess where the car is to present ”wall” “small” ”tall” Step 5 读词,让学生自己发现规律。 al al /o:/ Step 6 将含有 ar 和 al 的读音都呈现出来。 3. Consolidation (13minutes) lets chant Ask students to do a chant about letter”ar al” lets blend Ask students to blend the letter and words. lets spell Ask students to spell some new words in groups and they can help each other. 4 listen and read listen and write. Come back to the book. 4. Homework (2minutes) Write the words on the exercise book and spell the new words. VI: blackboard design. VII: reflection There are some advantages in my lesson plan. I try to make the teaching contents with fun so that the students can be impressed, such as the riddle, the story. In this way they can understand and accept the knowledge easily. And I pay attention to the student-centered teaching because I give time back to the students to discuss in groups. However, there are also some parts need us to pay attention to. Firstly, the classroom management, we teacher should control the whole class properly to prevent the students from getting over- excited in the activities. Secondly, some students may feel hard to spell some new words so teacher should help them properly.
