1、Reading for Pleasure - The Girl in the Pagoda教学设计 1. 教学内容分析 本节课的教学内容是新标准英语（三起）五年级下册 Reading for Pleasure 部 分中的 The Girl in the Pagoda。故事讲述的是一个女孩被妖怪掳走，关在一 座宝塔里。妖怪反复逼迫女孩嫁给他，女孩并没有屈服。最终，女孩用自己 的智慧求救并成功获救。 2. 学生情况分析 本节课的教学对象是五年级的学生，他们已经有了一定的英语学习基础和自 主学习能力，能够用已学的知识分析并解决相关的问题。学生对于英语绘本 阅读比较感兴趣，本节课从学生的兴趣出发，设计

2、相关的环节和活动，培养 学生的思维品质和相关能力。 3. 教学目标 知识与技能目标： （1） 学 生 能 理 解 ： pagoda, sat, blew, at the top of, in front of, marry, frightened, at the foot of, threw, hit, flew, save. （2） 学生能够阅读并理解本节课的故事。 （3） 学生能够用正确的语音和语调朗读故事。 （4） 学生能够通过小组合作的方式表演本节课的故事。 学习策略目标： 培养学生浏览、略读、预测等阅读策略。 情感态度目标： 培养学生乐于助人的良好品质。学会在遇到危险时，勇敢面对，想

3、办法保 护自己，逃离危险。 4. 教学重难点 重点：学生能用正确的语音、语调朗读故事，能够理解故事大意，并回答老 师提出的相关问题。 难点：学生能够小组合作表演故事的内容。 5、教学过程与方法 Step 1 Pre-reading 1. Greeting. 2. Sing a song. - Fly,Fly in the Sky 【设计意图】：用学过的英文歌曲作为热身，活跃课堂气氛。 3. 9、. I want to go home. T: Exactly! 教师出示图片,并播放对话录音，让学生模仿跟读。 T：Now Im the young man, and youre the girl. 让学生感知表演此部分。 T: Will you marry me? Ss: No, I wont. I want to go home. T: Good job! 【设计意图】：让学生理解并表演此场景，可以让其切实感受一下，由此 为后面的年轻人生气，女孩的想办法求救埋下伏笔,自然过渡。 T:How did the young man feel? Was he happy? sad? angry?

10、 Ss: He was very angry. T: What did he say ? 让学生听并选出答案。 Ss: Then you will stay in this pagoda. T：Can you say it angrily？让学生感知模仿年轻人的语气。 T: After that, the young man visited the girl every day, but the girl didnt want to marry him. 学生看图观察，理解课文。 3.Watch and answer 学习故事中图 5和图 6 的内容 T:Now lets watch the
