Unit2 Was it a big city then?教学设计 一、教学(学习)目标: 知识目标: 1、全体学生能够理解并运用词汇 village. 2、全体学生能运用句型:Was it a big city then? 及答语 Yes, it was./No, it wasnt. 能力目标: 1、能够听懂并且会说句子 Was it a big city then? 答语是: Yes, it was./No, it wasnt. 2、能够运用 was 或 were 的问句询问过去事物或人物的特征和状态。 情感态度目标: 使学生乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语。 二、学情分析: 小学生学习英语能否取得成功,很大程度取决于他们对英语学 习的兴趣和信心,学习兴趣以及学习信心又在很大程度上决定了学 生学习的效果。小学生集中注意力的时间很短,上课精力有点不集 中,因此我在教学过程中不断的设置不同的活动去吸引他们的注意 力,让他们在参与中进行学习,大胆实践,体验成功,并及时给与 学生激励性的评价,这样学生有了成就感,就有了对学习的动力, 所学的知识也就能够更有效率的掌握。 三、教学重点和难点: 教学重点:掌握单词 village,能够运用由 Was 引导的一般疑问句 及其回答。 教学难点:能够运用由 was/were 引导的一般疑问句及其回答。 四、方法与手段: 方法:小组合作当堂达标法 手段:与教学内容相关的课件、声音、图片、白板等多媒体素材 五、教学过程: Step 1 :Warming up& leading in. 1、greeting. T: Good morning, boys and girls S:Good morning, Ms. Sun. 2、warming up Let us sing a chant, pay more attention to the red words. Add some actions while we sing the chant. 设计意图:热身活动中代入了今天课堂中反复会用到的一些形容词, 起到一个预热的作用。 3、leading in T shows some of the words on board and let Ss say the opposite words to review the adjective words we learnt before. T shows some pictures about past and now, let Ss use those pictures make some sentences . Ss can use sentence patterns, “Was it then ?”, and then give positive or negative answers. Next, Ss use “it/he/she is now.”Make some new sentences. In this period, we will use these words, big, small, short, tall, old, young, fat, thin, and strong. 设计意图: 这一个环节中,教师反复运用今天的句型请同学们完成 造句和回答的练习,运用反复的过程去对今天的知识点进行一个 不断的强化作用,在同学们说的过程中对句型有一个基本的掌握。 Step 2 Listening comprehension. T shows a pic about grandpa and ask two questions about the text, let Ss listen to the tape and answer questions. Listen to the tape twice and answer questions. Then, Ss read the section B to check the answer together. T shows a video about Shenzhens past and now. Lead in a new word “village”. Then, read it together, and use this word to make some sentences. Look at this picture about Shenzhen. Now let me guess, was it a big city then? Look at another picture about Shenzhen.(展示出一张过去深圳的照片) 设计意图:听力部分的内容因为有前一个造句环节的铺垫,对学生 们来说比较简单,而听力结束后的朗读部分更是对本环节的内容加 深了理解和巩固。通过听说的部分,加强了学生的语感训练。 Show a picture of Shanghai, let Ss use the adjective words make some sentences about Shanghais past and now, then do some exercise. 设计意图:此环节运用前面所有呈现过的句型和形容词,去描述上 海的过去和现在,是检测学生对所学内容的一个反馈,和调动学生 的积极性去运用知识点的一个过程。 Step3: Practice Write a composition about our schools past and now, Ss can use the words that T showed. 在练习部分设计一个作文环节,write a composition about our school, 分组活动,以每小组为单位写一写我们学校的过去和现在 的不同。选两个组的作文进行呈现。 设计意图:再次对我们今天所学的知识点进行一个巩固练习,发挥 学生的主观能动性去运用所学习的内容。 Step5:Summary 询问第三人称单数过去怎么样句型: Was +第三人称单数(it/he/she.)+形容词? 回答:Yes, it/he/she. was.
