I went to .” Aims of ability: 1.Be able to use past tense talk about place. 2.Learn some relevant listening skills. Aims of emotion: 1.Taste the happiness of communicating in English. 2.Build confidence of listening. Key points 1.Mastering of key words. 2.Mastering of past tense structure ”what did you do.? I went to .” Difficult Points: 2 1.getting the correct information from the listening material. 2.can talk about “what did you do.?” VI. Procedures step I lead in Greet to students as usual Guessing and expressing: Playing a song to students. Let students guess todays topic. And then show the new unit: our winter holidays? Students listen to the teachers question and answer the question. Step2 Presentation The teacher raises a question again: Talk about your winter holidays. And then show some words about subjects in ppt. Visited the Great Wall 参观过长城 Went to the zoo 去过动物园 Did homework 做过作业 Played football 踢过足球 Giving students several minutes to memorize these words, and ask a student to lead the teaching of words in the class. Step3 learn a dialogue. 3 Teacher shows several pictures in PPt, leading in the dialogue-How was your winter holidays/What did you do in your holidays-Its was wonderful/ I went topractice the sentence patterns. Intensive training: listen the tap about the topic. Step 4 Then Show the main sentence structure in ppt : How was your winter holidays? What did you do in your holidays Display pictures again. Teacher picks up some students to practice the conversation. Step5 deepening the theme Ask students a question. What did you do yesterday/last Sunday? Teacher writes the sentence in blackboard. What did you do yesterday/last Sunday? I played football/visited an art show/listened to music. Step6 Summary Summarize important points. For instance, review several key words; use the sentence pattern-what did you do.? I went to . Homework: 4 Telling you parents what did you do in your holiday? Review todays lessons.
