The main sentence structures. 3.Its=It is 4. Good morning/afternoon/evening/night. 5.How to use the language flexibly and skillfully. Teaching procedure 1.Say “Hello” and warm up. 2.Review: Read the words of unit 1 Recite the dialogues of unit 1 and have scene shows. Write the 5 lett ers with fingers. 3.Teacher takes out a box and touch in it, then guess “What will I tak e out?” To prestent the new sentence structure: I have a new toy. 4.Teach and encourage the students to say “I have a new” 5.Play a game. Let the students take out one toy from the box and say “I have a ne w” and then take the toy for their friends to share happyness. 6.Practise speaking in group. 7.Listen and learn the dialogue. 8.Listen and number, then check together. 9.Listen and sing a song (P12). 10.listen and act. Let students fold the paper and make a plane/boat/rabbitand say “I have a new toy.” “Its a” “I have a new plane/boat/rabbitfor you.” 11.Ending with the song. Homework 1.Listen and read the words and dialogue. 2.Recite and act the dialogue for parents. 3.Fold the paper to make a toy for parents and practise speaking.
