Welcome to English Class . First,lets sing a song together. (大家好,欢迎大家来上英语课。首先,让我们一起唱个儿 歌吧。) PPT 出示歌谣,和学生一起吟唱。 Lead in Okay,class. Today ,we will read a story . Today we will meet a cat. It is lost in the city . But a dog and a bird help the cat. It is really a good story!(好的,同学们,今天我们将要读一篇故事。今天 我们会认识一只猫。它在城市里迷路了,但是一只狗和一只鸟 帮助了它。这真是一个很好的故事。) Step2:presentation 1、Prepare to read 学生打开课本 44 页。先不着急读故事,认真看一下每幅图, 了解故事的梗概,同桌间可以讨论。然后回答下列问题: How many animals can you see from the story? What are they? What are they doing in these pictures? 2、Read the Story 将故事从头到尾过一遍,帮助学生理解故事情节。 (1)图一,让学生自己阅读,问辅助问题:What do you see in the picture ? What do you think the cat is going?(可以让学生通 过上下文猜不认识的单词的意思,锻炼阅读能力) (2)图二,现在猫在哪呢?辅助问题:What can you see in the picture ?(回忆 there be 句型) (3)图三,接着往下看,小猫迷路了,他遇到了谁?辅助问 题:What are they looking at ? What does the dog tell to the cat ?(学生读出指路的句子) (4)图四,小猫找到它想去的地方了吗?。辅助问题: Where does the cat want to go? (5)图五,这时谁又帮助了小猫?辅助问题:Who does the cat meet now ? What does the bird tell to the cat ?(学生读出指路 的句子) (6)图六,学生回答:What is written on the house ?
