To stimulate the students creativity . II. Teaching Key points and Difficult point. Teaching key points: To grasp the four new words and two sentence patterns. Teaching difficult point: Help the students use these sentences in daily life. III. Teaching Aids: A Computer word cards IV .Teaching Methods and Learning strategies. 1. Situation teaching method 2. Task-based teaching method. 3. TPR teaching method. V. Teaching Procedure Step 1. Greeting. (3 分钟) Step 2. Revision:(3 分钟) I will show my family photos to review the words and lead in the new sentence patterns. Step 3 Practice(2 分钟) After presentating the new sentence patterns, Ill sing a song“Whats he like?” and then practice the sentences by singing the song. Step 4 Extension By introducing my mum to ask students “Whats your mother/ father like? What are you like?” Step 5 New words: (12 分钟) 1. handsome Find a model to lead in the word. And then play a “ touch game” to practice it. 2. friendly By PPT to lead in the word. And then show different countries people how to show their friendship to practice the word. 3. Chinese teacher speak Chinese Lead in: By introducing my Chinese teacher to lead in the phrase. Practice: play a game“clap hands” Step 6 Review the four words. Step 7 Play a game(4 分钟) Step 8 Show Time (12 分钟) (to develop their creativity and speaking ability) Ask students to make a conversation with his/her partner and then show it for us.
