Show ppt5, ask them two questions and learn the two words: paint、painter、painting. T: Whats he doing? Ss: Hes drawing.(prediction) T: yes, we can say hes painting. Paint, it means “draw”. (show the sentence: he is painting. And teach them to read it.) T: guess “whats his job?”(show ppt6) Learn the word“painter”,then practice the question one by one like this. T: what do you need? S1: I think I need a paintbrush. T: what does he/she need?(point another one) S2: I think he/she needs a paintbrush. The teacher makes students understand how to use need or needs, do or does. 4. Find the same answers and then ask all students. T: what do they need? S: I think they need a . Step3 work in groups Show some pictures, students choose one and say. The teacher gives help students in need. Then, students perform. Step4. listening Listen and circle, finish the task on their textbooks. Step5. reading Read all words and sentences on book. Step5 revision and summary 1. Show English words and make students say all Chinese meanings. 2. Review sentences with some situation.
