Listen to a song: The teacher and the students do the actions. Step2. Lead in. Talk about the weather: Is it windy? Is it snowing? Step3. Presentation. 1. Show a picture and ask “whats this?”. “What color is it?”. “ Yes, its the blue sky”. The students read and spell “sky”. 2. The cloud is coming, teach and spell “cloud”. Show to clouds, and teach “clouds”. 3. Show a picture and ask “Is there a wind?”. Then teach the word “wind”, then spell and read it. 4. Color the clouds blank and say “the clouds get dark, what will happen?”.Its going to snow. Teach “snow”, then say “its snowing. I feel very cold, I need a coat”. Then review the word “coat”. 5. The teacher says “If its spring, the clouds get dark, it will be rain.” Teach new word “rain”. Then says “When it is raining, what do we need.? What can keep us dry?” The students answer “umbrellas”. 6. The teacher says “but I dont have an umbrella, I have a raincoat. Then teach “raincoat”. 7. The teacher says “ I cant see clearly. So I wear glasses, then teach “glasses”. 8. Show a picture of the sun and say “the sun is very bright even we cant open our eyes. What do we need. The students answer “we need sunglasses”. Then teach “sunglasses”. 9. Ask the students to read new words together. 10. Ask the students to read new words one by one. Step4. Practice: 1. Magic finger: When the finger points the word, the students read this word. 2. What is missing? The students look at the new word carefully and remember them. Then tell us “what is missing?. Step5. Summary: What did we learn this class? Step6. Homework: 1. Listen to the tape of the new words. 2. Copy the new words five times. 3. Review “part A. Lets talk”. Blackboard writing: sky, cloud, wind, snow, rain, raincoat, glasses. Teaching reflection: 整个教学过程没有把学生的积极性,主观能动性调动起来,学生课前预习 不充分,平时没有经常用英语进行教学,导致学生有时候听不懂老师在说什么, 在以后的教学过程中要加强预习指导,尽量用英语进行教学。
