3、are all grey and have baskets. There are about 20,000 of them in the city, and around 1,450 bicycle stations. So there are a lot more Velib stations than the 298 subway stations! Paris is not the first city to have a scheme like this. But not everybody thinks its a great idea. One Parisian said, The
4、se bicycles are only for short journeys. If people want to travel across the city, they wont use a bicycle-theyll still use their cars. A city spokesman said, The bicycle scheme wont solve all our traffic problems, of course. But it might help reduce air pollution. Traffic, together with factory fum
5、es, is a big problem. There arent any simple answers to traffic problems and pollution in cities. But unless we do something now, there will be more traffic jams and temperatures will continue to rise, so the problems of our environment will get worse. 18、e moon. Besides Change-4, China plans to launch Change-5 in 2019. Its mission will be to gather moon rocks using an orbiter, a lander or collector, an ascent stage(上升段)and a capsule. Then the capsule will separate from the orbiter and return the rocks to the earth. With these missions, the Chinese w
19、ill have shown complete mastery of flight in space between the earth and the moon, said Paul Spudis, an experienced lunar researcher based in Houston. CNSA has already outlined ideas for Chinese astronauts to follow the robots to the moon. Pei Zhaoyu, deputy director of CNSAs Lunar Exploration and S
20、pace Program Center, said that China plans a permanent robotic lunar station in about 10 years and suggested a human presence on the moon another decade or so after that. Spudis said Chinas ambitious Change-4 and Change-5 missions should send humans plans for the lunar return into rapid development.
