    6、 taxi, ship, school,home,come,go) and hide them around the classroom behind a chair, on the window sill, in a book, etc. In class, sit your students down and start hunting around the room, gesturing that you are looking for something. Find one of the flashcards and look relieved and happy to have fo

    7、und it. Indicate that there are 4 more Page 3 of 6 flashcards to find and get everyone to hunt around the room helping you to look for the flashcards. Once all of the flashcards have been found sit everyone down again. 2.Teach transport vocab On the computer, show a simple picture of the school and

I am going to teach the vocab in order of the song you are going to sing a bit later on. And show the action of transportation. School, school ,school, co

Continue doing this for all of the cards and actions of the songs. For the last one train get everyone to coun

    11、t down from 10 to 1 and then jump as theyre driving a train! 3.Do conversation Student will use their paper and have them partner. They will have 2 mins to prepare it. First, they will need to find the partner, then they will do a tutorials. Second, I will time it. And remind them “Remember, you all

    14、 with this song: 1.Do the question pose (palms up, puzzled look onface) forthe question “How do you come to school ?”, but point downwards (to the ground) for the “here” part. 2.As the song plays do the followingactions: on foot: walk on thespot. by bus: pretend to drive a bus and beep the horn. by

    15、train: do the train gesture moving your hands around like a wheel and “chu-chu”ing. by ship: do wave motions with yourhands. by taxi : pretend like a taxi driver. I come here by train 5.Practice asking and answering How do you come to school? with a class surveyas a game. Start by modeling hold up y

    16、our survey and point out the names at the top. Choose one student and ask How do you come to school?. Elicit a full answer (E.g. I come to school by bus) and show everyone how to fill in the survey (by drawing a circle in the correct cell). Do with a few students until everyone understands. If someo

    17、ne gives an impossible answer (e.g. rocket), show an expression of shock and then say, Noooo, that cant be right! and have a laugh, but try to elicit their true answer. Then, give out a survey to everyone. Page 5 of 6 First, get everyone to find their own name and circle their answer. Then get every

    18、one to mingle about asking and answering and filling in their surveys. When everyone has finished, complete survey sheet by asking the class for the answers (e.g. How does Naomi come to school?). Wrap Up: Set Homework: How do you come to school ? worksheet Do Quick Check and say Goodbye Time to leav

    19、e the class. Make sure everything is put away and the students have gathered their belongings. Have them line up at the door and place yourself between the door and the students. For each student check one new word (e.g. hold up vehicle and ask What is this?). When they give you the correct answer say goodbye and let them leave. If their answer is wrong, have them go back to the end of the line - they will have to try again once they reach the front!
