You must go to Dongting Lake. 和 You can try some fried tofu .等句型 进行问答对话和交流,学会课文中出现的生词。 3. 通过谈论风景名胜、风土人情,开阔学生视野,激发他们热爱家 乡的情感。 二、教学重难点: 词汇: famous、mountain、temple、travel、 City、 Square、 try、fried 、dish。 句型: There is a famous mountain in Hu nan. You must go to Dongting Lake. You can try some fried tofu. 三、教学活动: 让学生把以前去参观风景名胜时拍摄的照片带到学校。上课时,让 学生以组为单位,每人拿出自己 的一张或一组照片,先自己介绍照 片中风景名胜的名字、特点等,再相互谈论。 四、课前准备: 教师课前需要准备录音机、磁带、教学挂图、单词卡片和风景名胜 图片等。 五、教学过程: 1. Warm-up. 开始讲课前,教师可以先问:“同学们,你们知道我国都有哪些风 景名胜吗?你们自己都去参观过哪些风景名胜?”在学生进行一番 谈论后,教师可以进一步问:“你们知道我们本地有什么风景名胜 吗?你们去参观过吗?有什么特色?”引导学生谈论和了解家乡的 风景名胜。 通过上述活动,让学生对风景名胜产生兴趣,将话题逐步转移到本 节教学内容上来。 2. 任务 1 的教学: (1)在进行上述活动的基础上,教师让学生看 Look, listen and act 的教学内容,看对话中出现了哪些人物,他们在谈论什么,提 到了哪些风景名胜和地方特色物品。 (在学生看的过程中,教师将有 关生词和 There is a famous mountain in Hunan. You must go to Dongting Lake. You can try some fried tofu. 等句型写到黑板 上,或用多媒体展示出来。 ) (2)教师简单讲解黑板上或多媒体展示出来的生词和句型。然后, 教学生认读、跟读和记忆。 (3)播放 Look, listen and act 的录 音,先让学生听两遍。在听 懂大意的基础上,给学生布置“任务” ,比如:Which mountain in Hunan is one of the famous mountains in China? What does John want to do? Is fried tofu a famous dish in Hunan? 等,让学 生带着问题、带着目的去听录音。 (4)通过多种形式让学生朗读 Look, listen and act 的内容,比 如:跟录音读,跟老师读,角色扮演朗读(根据对话角色,让不同 的学生扮演) 。也可以让学生将课文内容换成自己的话来进行复述。 (注意,复述课文应根据学生实际情况选择使用。而且,只要学生 大致复述即可,不可在语法等上过度苛求学生,以免打击学生学习 英语的积极性。 ) (5)在学生听懂和熟读的基础上,组织学生以小组为单位,进行角 色扮演,模仿 Look, listen and act 的内容进行对话表演。 (在学 生进行对话表演时,教师可将 Look, listen and act 内容通过图片 或多媒体等方式,向学生适当提供情景,以便学生模仿对话时参考。 ) 注:语言点解释 mount 作“山”解时,只能用在专有名词中, 缩写形式是 Mt. 如:Mount Tai (Mt. Tai)(泰山) , Mount Heng(Mt. Heng) (衡山)等。说到一座山时,不可以用 mount,应用 mountain。例如: There is a high mountain near my hometown. 我的家乡附近有座 高山。 watch 意思是“观看” ,后接带有动词不定式的复合结构(宾语+ 宾补)时,动词不定式习惯上省略 to。例如: And I want to watch people dance in the park. (动词 dance 前面省略了 to) I watched him go into the building. (动词 go 前面省略了 to) 但在被动语态中,动词不定式前面的 to 不可省略。例如: People are watched to dance in the park. He was watched to go into the building. 3. 任务 2 的教学: (1)教师让学生看 Listen and say 的教学内容,带领学生朗读 a famous mountain, a famous dish, place, a famous temple, a famous square, dance 这几个单词和短语,或让学生齐声朗 读这几 个单词和短语。 (2)播放 Listen and say 的录音,先让学生仔细听,注意录音中 所提到风景名胜等的名称。 (3)根据 Listen and say 内容,让学生两人一组,仿照图片上面 的对话形式和句型 There is also a famous temple. You must go and see the Temple of Heaven. Yes./Sure./Great!等就本任务学 习的新词 进行对话练 习(所用句型可以适当灵活变化,以体现活 学活用之目的) 。 (4)让学生把以前去参观风景名胜时拍摄的照片带到学校。上课时, 让学生以组为单位,每人拿出自己的一张或一组照片,先自己介绍 照片中风景名胜的名字、特点等,再相互谈论。
