Teaching aims: Knowledge aims: 1.To remember phrases about daily activities. 2.To express the time you do something. Ability aim: To improve students listening and speaking skills. Emotion aim: 1.To form good habits. 2.To be glad to express yourself in English. Teaching important points: 1.Phrase about activities. 2.Sentence structure: I usually go to school at Teaching difficult points: To ask and answer in pairs. Teaching preparations: A clock, phrase cards Teaching procedures: Step 1. Lead in 1. Listen to a song: If you are happy. 2. Look at the clock and ask questions. -Whats this? -Its a clock. -What time is it? -Its Ask other students about time. 3.Lead to the topic: What time do you usually go to school? I usually go to school at 7:00. Step 2. Presentation 1. To learn phrases one by one. (1) get up 起床 a.Read after the teacher. b.Read in groups. c.Sentence: I usually get up at 6:00. d.Students say the time they get up one by one. (2) wash my face 洗脸 a.do action when students read the words. b. Loud voice and low voice game. c.Sentence: I usually wash my face at 6:20. (3) brush my teeth 刷牙 a.to teach how to pronounce the words b.“Magic finger” game: (If the teacher point to the longer finger, students shoulder read louder, if the shouter finger, they read lower.) c.I usually brush my teeth at 6:25. (4) put on my shoes/ clothes 穿鞋/衣服 a.I say, you do b.Students read the phrases in lines. c.I usually put on my shoes/ clothes at 6:30. (5) have breakfast 吃早餐 a. Boys and girls raly-race. b. Students make sentences. c. The teacher asks, students answer. 2. Lets play a game. Who has a quick eye? (There will be a picture for only one second. The first one who hands up and read out the phrase will get a small prize from the teacher.) Step 3.Extention-Time schedule 1. Students work in small groups and finish the time table. 2. Tell your class about your time schedule by using the sentence : I usually at . Step 4 Emotional education. There is a saying: The early bird catches the worm.
