Were going to play football. 安迪:八点半了。我现在必须去公园了。我们 要去踢足球了 Mum : No! The rain is too heavy. 妈妈:不行!雨太大了。 Andy : I will use an umbrella. 安迪:我会带把伞的。 Mum : No! The wind is too strong. 妈妈:不行!风太大了。 这里的too是“ 太”的意思, 而不是“也” a用于辅音 前,an用于 元音前 Look, listen and act Andy : I will put on my raincoat. 安迪:我会穿上外套的。 Mum : Look ! Can you see the lightning? Can you hear the thunder? 妈妈:看!你能看见闪电吗?你能听见 雷声吗? Andy : Yes, I can. 安迪:是的,我能。 Look, listen and act Mum : This is a big storm. You cant play football. Its dangerous. 妈妈:这是一场大暴雨。你不能踢足球。很危险。 Andy : Mum, look at the black clouds in the sky . 安迪:妈妈,你看天上的乌云。 Mum : Lets wait until the storm passes. 妈妈:我们等到暴风雨过去。 Andy : Yes, Mum. 安迪:好的,妈妈。 John : Mum, look at the black rain clouds in the sky . Homework 1. 抄写第七单元单词表的单词,中 英文各3遍。 2. 熟读并背诵课文和AB句型。 3. 完成学法第七单元练习。 Thank you! Bye Bye! Unit 7 Can you see the lighting? Section A Teaching Objectives: 1. Knowledge objective: Students are able to master the following important words and expressions: storm; stormy; thunder; lighting; thunderstorm; rainwater; raincoat; rain clouds; dangerous; fall down; flow into; soil; crop 2. Ability objective: Students are able to talk about weather with the learnt words. 3. Emotional objective: Students can have a better understanding about weather and how to protect themselves in severe weather conditions. Teaching Key and Difficult Points: Key point: Students are able to master the words and expressions listed above. Difficult point: Students can talk about the weather with the learnt words correctly and fluently. Teaching Procedures: Step 1: Warm up (3 min) Show some pictures of lighting and thunderstorm to pool their knowledge about thunderstorm. Step 2: Presentation and practice (25 min) Activity 1: New words Teach students new words with pictures so as to focus their attention, including pronunciation, spelling and relevant grammar knowledge. Activity 2: Word memorization Lead students to draw a picture to link all the learnt words so as to arouse their interest and deepen their understanding about the words. Activity 3: Sentence pattern Explain the sentence pattern “Can you see the lighting? Yes, I can./ No, I cant.” and then ask students to practice the sentence patterns in groups. Step 3: Consolidation (8 min) Ask students to translate the text of “Look, listen and act” so as to consolidate the learnt words and expressions. And then lead them to read the text so as to practice their oral English. Step 4: Summary and Homework (4 min) Summarize what we have learnt today. Homework: 1. Copy the learnt words three times both Chinese and English. 2. Read and recite the words and text. 3. Finish the excise of Unit 7. Blackboard Design. Teaching Reflection. 1. Try to activate the classroom atmosphere more next time. 2. Ask students to read more and explain less grammar points that are too difficult for them. 3. Lead students to read first and then implement the “Q&A” part.
