Students can obtain the new sentences such as“I like that.” “I like those.”to express their love for clothes. 2.Teaching difficult points: Students can use these phrases and sentences communicate with other students. III.Teaching aids Multi-medio, some pictures IV.Teaching procedure Step 1. Warm-up/Lead-in: 1. Free talk T: Childrens day will come. Lets choose some clothes for action. 2. Lets listen to a music “colour song” Step 2.Presentation 1.Teacher introduce the word“clothes”by shop and teaches the pronunciation. 2.T: Lets choose the clothes we like. Picture show some shirts and point a white one say : I like this white shirt. Teacher shows short and bird and let students guess the pronunciation. Teacher teach the sentence: shirt, shirt, I like that white shirt. 3.Teacher point a yellow skirt and say“I like this yellow skirt. Its beautiful. What about you?” Show sky and shirt to introduce the pronunciation. 4.T: Whats this? Is this a cap? S: No, it isnt. Teacher show pictures of “hi”and “cat” to introduce “hat”. And teacher play a video show the differences between cap and hat. 4.T: Whats this pink clothes? Oh, its not a skirt. Its long. Its dress.Teacher show “driver” and “guess” to introduce the pronunciation of dress. Teacher point to it and say “I like this pink dress” 5. T: Teacher show pictures of “panda” and “cats” to teach the pronunciation and chant “pants, pants, I like those pants”. Teacher let students pay attention to“those” and “pants”. 6.Read the words by tape. Step 3.Practice 1. Whats missing 2. Lets chant Step4.Consolidation 1. Do a survey: choose the clothes you like 2. Lets do together . Step 5.Summary To be a good kid, you need put away your clothes and keep your room clean. Step 6.Homework Do a survey:My family has _people.My father likes. My mother likes.
