PartPart A A Lets-learnLets-learn 教学设计教学设计 本课时是 PEP 小学英语五年级上册 Unit3 What would yo u like? 第 1 课 时,包括 Lets learn 和 Role-play 两部分。其中 Lets l earn 部分是通 过 Sarah 和妈妈的对话呈现五个有关食品类的单词的词形和意义,让学生能听 说、认读、写 ice cream, tea, hamburger, sandwich ,salad 这些单词。能 够在具体语境中正确运用这五个单词模拟点餐。 Role play 部分是通过模拟填 写菜单、点餐的对话,进一步强化单词的音、形、义,提高课堂学习的趣味性。 【学情分析】 五年级的学生经过 2 年的英语学习,具备了一定的英语基础知识,对英语 充满了学习热情,上课发言积极,勇于乐于表现。本节课的学习内容又特别贴 近学生的生活和学习实际,选择的话题也都是学生喜闻乐见的内容。因此活动 的设计应根据学生的特点,激活他们原有的知识经验和语言能力,为学生提供 能够表达语言的平台。利用生活情景进行的教学设计,更能激发学生的兴趣, 以便于学生在愉快的学习氛围中学得和习得。 一、教学目标 1. 能听、说、读、写单词 sandwich, salad, hamburger, ice cream 和 tea。 2. 能灵活运用句型“What would you like to eat/drink?”,“Id like”进行点餐交流。 3. 了解中西方餐桌礼仪和饮食差异。 4. 继续保持学生对学习英语的兴趣,激发学生用英语交流的热情。 二、教学重难点 (一)重点 1. 能听、说、读、写单词 sandwich, salad, hamburger, ice cream 和 tea。 2. 能灵活运用句型“What would you like to eat/drink?”,“Id like”进行交流。 (二)难点 能准确、形象地运用句型进行实际操练。 三、教学准备 1. 多媒体课件、食物卡片、绿茶饮料、学生提前准备的菜单。 四、教学过程 (一)Warm up (1)Greeting 1. 课堂口语练习 T: Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls. Class begins ! s: Good morning . T: Whats your name? S: My name is. T: Do you like apples?/Do you like chicken? S: Yes, I do./No, I dont. 设计意图:谈论的话题和本节课的内容密切相关。 (2)Preview 1. 教师用多媒体课件出示我的饭店图片,并邀请学生到我的饭店里。然后 一起唱一首关于食物的歌曲。 2. 呈现饭店里面部分菜品,问学生认识它们么,并用英语回答出来。 T: Do you know them? S1: Yes, potatoes S2: fish S3: noodles 设计意图:学生通过图片展示和回答问题,应该已经知道了本节课将要学习 的内容,下面的教学自然就水到渠成。 (二)Presentation ( 1 ) Learn new sentences structures. 教师呈现食物图片,与学生进行对话,如: T: What would you like to eat? That means: What would you like to eat? S2: Potatoes. T: You can answer like this: “Id like potatoes” .Ss repeat. T: What would you like to eat? S2: Id like, please. . 教师呈现饮料图片,与学生对话。 T: What would you like to drink? S1: Id like some water S2. Id like some juice. . 设计意图:复习完已经学过的单词后自然的引入到想吃什么这样一个句型, 学生乐于练习和接受。 (2) Learn the new words 师生对话。 T: Most of the food are Chinese food. Do you know western food? This one shows western food.(呈现 PPT )。What do you like, Chinese food or western food? Ss: I like Chinese/western food. T: Some like Chinese food and some like western food. My restaurant has some popular Chinese food. Let me show you . 教师用卡片多媒体课件分别展示出三明治、沙拉、汉堡包和冰激凌的图片, 引出单词“sandwich”,“salad”,“hamburger”和“ice cream”。并反复 练习“What would you like to eat?”,“Id like”句型。 T: Im a little thirsty. Ill drink . So cool. Whats in my hand? 教师用实物和动作,引出单词“tea”。并练习 What would you like to drink? Id like some tea. 设计意图: 先用提问的方式引起学生的好奇心,再用形象的图片引出单词, 衔接自然,不会让学生有突兀的感觉。 (三) Practice 1,教师将生词和图片展示在黑板上,带领学生读几遍。然后让学生自己读。 2. 完成游戏猜单词。 3. 教师呈现今天的菜单,并介绍说是你们的服务员。反复操练句型。并且 招聘两名服务员,问下面同学问题。 设计意图:每个学生了解自己的学习情况,通过学生的复习巩固来加强单 词的记忆。接下来的游戏能够检查学生的快速反应能力。后面老师自然的引出 句型,为接下来的小组活动做好准备。 ( 四 ) Consolidation Group work。 T :Three or four students as a group. Each group has a restaurant and need a waiter. Try to make a dialogue .Take out your menu and the following sentences will help you . 一段时间后小组上来展示。 S1: I am the waiter. Welcome ! What would you like to eat? S2:Id like a hamburger and some salad. S1: OK. Its good. What would you like to drink? S2: Id like some orange juice. S1: OK. Here you are. S2: Thank you. S1: You are welcome. . 播放 Lets Chant. 复习并再次感受本节课所学有关句型。 设计意图: 学生在小组合作中能够体验到合作学习的乐趣,并能在实际情 境中练习所学内容。 五 Extension 幻灯片呈现中西方餐桌文化和饮食差异。T :In China, people use chopsticks, but in the western, they use knife and fork. We often eat rice, porridge, noodles or dumplings .But westerners prefer to eat bread ,steak or drink milk. 设计意图:通过学习中餐和西餐内容,在此处简单的介绍中国和西方国家 的餐桌文化和饮食差异。易引起学生兴趣。 六 Homework 1. Read and recite the new words and sentences. 2. Practice with your parents by using the key sentences。 3.
