How heavy are you? Im Hes bigger than 这些语言对于学生来讲难 度不大，学生通过该故事的 教学不仅复习巩固了本单元所学的语言，还适当拓宽了其他语 言的输入，如：I cant wait. Football needs teamwork. Free talk （PPT 呈现） T: How tall are you?. Youre taller than me. How heavy are you? Youre thinner than me. S1&S2 生生对话，并进行比较。 T: Youre so tall. Do you like playing basketball?. 3. Lead-in T: Look. Whos he?（PPT 呈现姚明照片）Ss: Yao Ming. T: Yes, he is Yao Ming. Whats he like? Ss: Hes tall and strong. T: How tall is he? Do you know? S1: Hes m. T: Lets have a look. Here are some information about him. How tall is he? Ss: Hes 2.26 m. T: How heavy is he? Ss: Hes 140.6 kg. T: Whats his hobby? Ss: He likes playing basketball. T: Yes, youre right. So he became a basketball player. This is his job. Lets look at another picture. Whos he? Do you know?(PPT 呈现贝克汉姆照片) Ss: Hes Beckham. T: Good. How tall is he?/How heavy is he?/ Is he a basketball player, too? Ss: T: Wonderful! Hes a football player. There is a poster about the club.(T 出示海报，贴在黑板上) Presentation & Practice Story time 1.Read the poster loudly and answer T: Please read the poster loudly and answer the question: What do they want? 2.Watch and answer T: Now, watch the cartoon and answer. Q: Who wants to be the goalkeeper? Zebra, Deer, Giraffe and Dog. 3.Look and guess T: Who became the goalkeeper at last? Why? Look, here comes another animal hippo. There are some information about these animals. Please look at their information and guess: who became the goalkeeper at last? Why? 4. Watch and check T: Now, lets watch the cartoon again and check: who became the goalkeeper at last?. T: Yes. The hippo became the goalkeeper at last. Because hes almost bigger than the goal. The other animals cant be the goalkeeper. Can you tell us why? Why cant the Giraffe be the goalkeeper? Why cant the Deer be the goalkeeper? Why cant the Zebra be the goalkeeper? How about the dog? 4.Listen and read T: Now, lets listen to the tape and read the whole story. 5.Role play T: Now, lets read in roles. Each group needs 7 students. Group 1, who wants to join?
