Teaching procedures: Step 1 Warm up & Revision Greeting: Good morning! Boys and girls./Good afternoon! Boys and girls. Free talk: T walks into the students to greet with some individuals by using the sentences: How are you?/Good morning!/Nice to meet you!/Whats on the desk?/Where is the ruler?/. Guide the students to answer correctly. Review:1. Read together. 2.Look and say. Step 2 Presentation & Practice 1.Ask the students to guess what is in the box? T say “Its water”. Lead them to understand the meaning of “water”. 2.Ask the students to listen to the tape and pay attention to the pronunciation of “water”. Then repeat it. Ask them dont waste water. 3.Read the word one by one. Correct the wrong pronunciation. 4.Practice the word by playing games: Magic fingers, Blow king. 5.Ask the students to guess riddle. Then T say “Its tea”. Lead them to understand the meaning of “tea”. 6.Ask the students to listen to the tape and pay attention to the pronunciation of “tea”. Then repeat it. 7.Read the word one by one. Correct the wrong pronunciation. 8.Practice the word by playing games: Hide the hands, Up and down. Step 3 Summary & Homework 1. Present the key words of this lesson, then repeat and explain it again. 2. Read the word together. 3.Do some exercises.
