Set up their self-confidence in expression. Ss profile: Students of Grade 1 have studied English for 0.5 year. They can cooperate with their classmates to finish a simple task. On the other hand, Ss ability of using English is limited, therefore, all of these shall be taken into consideration of the teaching. The important and difficult points: Based on the requirement of the syllabus and the student characteristics, the important and difficult points are develop Ssspeaking ability and master the usage of key sentences correctly. Teaching methods: In order to achieve the aims mentioned above, I decide to choose “Situational Teaching Method”,”Communicative Approach”,”Task-based Teaching Method”and some word games. Teaching procedures: StepsActivitiesTime Warm-up 1. In this step, Ill sing a song with the students.
