They are _. 教材 分析 本课是以What are they ?的句型教学为主。学生已经对该句型有了感性 认识,基本上能听懂和口头说出这一句型。本节课知识 贴近学生生活(四个动 物名词的复数形式 pigs, ducks, sheep, cows),适应多层次学生的需求,比 较接近学生的认知水平。教学内容的范围、深度适合学生的现阶段水平相衔接, 有利于学生在原有的认知结构的基础上掌握扩充新的知识。词汇是语言的建筑 材料,是英语教学中的基础。教学中要注意培养学生学习和记忆单词的正确方 法,提高学生学习单词的能力和信心。所以这一课时的重点是掌握好四个单词 的听、说、读、写和重点句型What are they? They are 的实际运用。 学情 分析 四年级的学生活泼好动,纯真可爱。孩子们上课时能够专心听讲,能够积 极主动的发言,思想比较单纯,善于提问。但有些学生还是为学习而学习,谈 不上兴趣问题;个别同学在课堂上纪律不是很好,还存在顽劣和懒惰倾向,大 部分学生对英语有着较浓厚的学习兴趣,但也有少数学生由于遇到困难,学习 兴趣会随之减弱。 所以教师应该面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,始终 把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方 法,培养学生良好的学习习惯,给予学生鼓励、肯定的评价。 教学 目标 Knowledge aims: To master the four-skill words “ducks,pigs, sheep, cows, geese.”; To understand and speak the sentence pattern “What are they? They are .”.And use the sentence in real situations. Ability aims: To develop the abilities of listening and speaking; To train the ability of working in groups; To foster the abilities of communication. Emotion aims: To love nature, to love animals. 教学 重点 To understand and speak the sentence pattern “What are they? Warming up 1. Greetings. 2. Enjoy and sing an English song. “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” 3.Revision. PPT shows the pictures to review the animal words: “pig, sheep, cow, duck, cat, rabbit, bird, horse, bird” and read the words. Presentation and drill 1. Show a farm with many animals and circle the animals then ask “What are they?” Teach the new word “goose” and the plural form “geese”. 2. Show sentence pattern “What are they? They are ” to ask and answer. 3. The same way to teach the other new words “pigs, sheep, cows, ducks”. 4. Practice the new words and the sentence patterns. 5. Look at the cards on the Say hello to each other . Sing the song with the actions. Read the words Use some real tools to teach the new words. Learn the sentences, ask and answer. Learn other new words.
