Analysis of the Teaching Contents The topic of this unit is about food which is easy to arise students interests. This part focuses on the words “milk and yogurt”, sentences“Do you want milk or yogurt?” “I want milk.” “Yogurt for me, please.” . Analysis of the Students The students in grade 2 have strong interest in the topic of this unit. They are active and willing to participate in the class activities. They have learnt some words and sentences about food which will be helpful for them to master this part and extend more knowledge. . Teaching Aims A. Knowledge Aims 1. To be able to indentify and say the words: milk, yogurt. To be able to listen, understand, and use the sentence patterns: Do you want milk or yogurt? I want milk. Yogurt for me, please. B.Ability Aims 2. To be able to develop the ability of speaking, and listening 3. To be able to use the new words and sentence structures in real situations. B. Emotional Aims 1. To be able to develop students ability communication and cooperation. . Teaching Key and Difficult points: 1. To apply the new words and sentence pattern in real situations. . Greeting 2. Students sing. 3. Students try to say,“I like” 问候拉近距离, 通过歌曲 TPR 创 设学习英语的氛 围并且激发孩子 的兴趣。通过问 题激活孩子旧知 为新知打下铺垫。 Step 2. Presentatio n and practice 1. T:I have a lot of food here. Lets see what they are. 2.Picture: milk and yogurt. And T teaches new words. 3.A bomb game. Introduce the rules. 4. A guessing game. T show some food pictures and let Ss guess. 5. Show a picture.
