Teaching difficult points 1.Ss may have difficulties in understanding the word with“that” and “this”in the scenario. 2.Ss may have difficulties in understanding the same sentences with “take a 交通工具 to the+ place”and “go to +place by 交通工具”. Teach new word “taxi” and new sentence: “Whats that?” 1.PPT shows a part of taxi . T:Look carefully , guess :Whats that? 2Learn new word:taxi. Read it ,then spell it on the blackboard. 3.Work in pairs . A:Whats that? B;Its a taxi. III. Practice sentences. 1.PPT shows a picture of teacher. T:Whos that? 2.T shows the way to school. 3.T encourages Ss to answer :How do you go to school? 4.Lets play (1)Read the book on Page 37. (2)T will prepare some cards that write bustaxibikecarwalk and then these pieces of cards will put into a box ,without looking at them. Ss will get one from the box and make a short sentence using the pattern .Ask S1 to get one ,then ask “How do you go to school?”S2 look at the card and answers :I/We go to Ss listen 、guess and judge what transportation it is. 1. Ss look 、guess and judge what transportation it is. 2. Read “taxi” together. 3.
