Ability Aims : Develop the Ss ability of listening , speaking , reading and singing . Emotional Aims : Develop the Ss interesting in learning English . Teaching key points and difficulties : (1)New words : seven oclock (2)New structure : -When do you get up? . - I get up at seven oclock. Teaching Aids : clock Teaching Procedure : 1 . Warm up : (1) Greeting . (2)Sing a song . 2 . Presentation : (1) Show some pictures of clocks, ask Ss to say the times, lead out the new phrase: seven oclock. Lead Ss to say :Its seven oclock. (2)Ask Ss to look at the screen and listen the tinkle of the clock, lead out the new phrase: get up. Let Ss ask classmates to get up one by one. Lead them to answer: OK! (3)T points at the clock and tells Ss: I get up at six oclock, ask one student: When do you get up? Lead him to look at the clock and say : I get up at seven oclock. 3 . Practice : (1) Listen to tape and repeat it . (2) Give Ss several minutes to work in pairs . (3) Ask pairs of Ss to act the dialog . (4)ask Ss to look at the screen, use the phrases to replace the dialogue, for example: dance, play soccer (5) Listen to the tape , finish the part 3 and 4,then check them. 4 . Homework : Preview Lesson 10 .
