Presentation 15 minutes 1.Show students the math and encourage them to say the +/- in English.Make sure they have a basic knowledge about the math. 2.Show them 1+1=? and have them say the sentence in English.Then use the same way to teach 1- 1=? with the sentence structures. 1.Learn to say + and - in English. 2.Read the math 1+1=? and 1-1=? in English with “How much is 1 plus/minus i?”.Then learn to answer the question. Practice 8 minutes 1.Show them more math and have them practice the sentence structures. 2. Show them the pictures with the 1.Use the sentence structures to answer the questions. 2.Complete the sentences with the key sentence 27 covered sentences, then complete the sentences. structures. Production 10 minutes 1.Read the sentence structures in lesson 6 together. Make sure they can use “plus” and “minus” fluently. 1.Open the English book and read the sentences.
