HOMEWORK: WRITINGHOMEWORK: WRITING 1 Go For It 八年级下册(八年级下册(2013 版)版) Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains Section B The emperors New Clothes 一指导思想与理论依据 初中英语课程标准对四级听力层级要求学生能够听懂简单故事的情节发展,理 解其中主要人物和事件,而本课要求学生能够使用一般过去时讲述故事。 课标要求 英语教学英语有工具性和人文性。而本课的载体皇帝的新装 ,在讲故事的同时,学 生对西方童话故事的文化内容有所了解,体现了英语学习的人文性。 二教材内容分析 皇帝的新装对于学生来说,故事情节较为熟悉,而通过图片及关键词的提示引导 学生复述故事,目的在于培养学生的思维和语言的重组能力,鼓励学生用所学的语言 结构进行表达。 三教学设计 (一) 教学目标 1. 学生能够用 once up on time, kept, stupid, cheats 复述皇帝的新装的故事。 2. 通过举例人物语言或行为,如 kept everything for themselves, didnt want to sound stupid 等,分析故事的人物性格。 3. 为故事续写结尾 (二) 教学重、难点及突破措施 本节课皇帝的新装教学重点是了解西方童话故事的表现形式,尝试用概括的形式 进行语言输出。教学难点是词汇的恰当使用,和故事逻辑的表达,以及最后引发学生用英 语进行表达的故事结尾的续写。通过学生小组活动,填空并把片段组成整个故事的活动, 使学生更加了解故事细节,并对故事的起承转合有一定认识。再通过人物分析这一活动, 使用之前故事中的语句,突破学生语言表达的难题,为最后的复述故事扫清语言障碍。 (三) 教学流程图 2 Post-listening 5. paste the sections to form 6. Step 7 Group work 1.Ask Ss to work in groups and analyze the main character in the story 1.Analyze the characters in the story with the traits 2.State the reasons using the sentences they could retell 3 Purpose: Try to make the students understand the character and the plot. Motivate them to use the language they learnt. Step 81.Ask the students work in groups and try to add an ending to the story and retell it. 2.Make them show it. 1.Retell the story with a new ending. 10 Purpose: Make Ss use the key words to retell the story and give a new ending. Open ending can motivate Ss to develop their creativity and to use the past tense. Homework: Write down the story and try to state your opinions about different characters.
