1、1 教学背景分析教学背景分析 教学内容:ReadingUnit 1He lost his arm but is still climbing 【学情分析】 本次我的教学对象-九年义务教育八年级下的学生,这是两极分化时期。他们的英 语已有一定基础,部分学生接受能力较强,有比较强烈的用英语表达的欲望;同时,因 为单词量的激增和难度的加大,也有部分学生的学习兴趣已经不像七年级那样浓厚,出 现懈怠和懒散的心理;因而如果让所有的学生都能参与你的课堂,必须保持课堂的趣味 性、紧凑性、竞争性和知识性的相结合。本单元的 Section B Reading 部分是一篇关于 Aron Ralston 在生死抉择的
2、时刻断臂自救的真实故事,故事跌宕起伏、情节引人入胜, 结局幸福美好。学生阅读情绪较高。教学中以学生为主体,教师为引导,突出听读领先, 读写联动的教学模式。 【教材分析】 由人教社出版的新目标初中英语新教材编写特点是:每个单元分为 Section A 和 Section B 两部分;Section A 部分是基本的语言内容;Section B 部分是知识的扩 展和综合的语言运用;Self Check 部分,学生用来自我检测本单元所学的语言知识。 【单元分析】 本课时为本单元的最后一个课时reading有关美国人Aron Ralston断臂自救的励 志故事,旨在鼓励学生在困境下能勇敢坚强,克服困难
3、脱离困境。 【设计思路】 基于以上分析,总的思路是根据学生实际情况,遵循学生身心发展的普遍规律,按 照学生认知水平和能力,从学生实际生活经验出发,由易到难,逐级铺设台阶,合理使 用教材、安排教学内容,注重学生学习英语的过程,强调学以致用,通过设置真实情境, 在课堂上为学生架起课堂与实际生活的“桥梁”,即我在教学过程中必须围绕特定的交 际目的和语言项目,设计出可操作性强的、任务化的,在保持学生学习兴趣的同时,提 高课堂学习的效率。 本节课突出学生为主体的教学活动, 使学生通过多种课堂学习方式, 运用一定阅读策略, 如快速阅读寻找段落大意, 及根据时间副词帮助理解事件发展经过, 从而最终完成系统的
