    5、ut places, Practice “Is there./ Are there.” Step 2 work on 2d. Role-play 1. Ask Ss to look at the conversations in 2d and answer the questions. (1)Is there a bank near here? (2.) Wheres the bank? (3). Is Center Street far from here? 2. Then Ss read the conversations by themselves and try to find out

    6、 difficulties and suspicious. Step 3 .Grammar focus and Revision 1. Review the grammar box. Ask students to say the questions and answers. 2 Ask students to circle these words in the grammar focus section of their books: such as: on, across from, next to, between.and. 2. 学生阅读 Grammar Focus 中的句子,然后做填

There be 句型中的主谓一致原则 There be 句型中 be 动词的形式要和其后面的主语在人称和数上保持一致。 如果句子的主语是单数的可数名词,或是不可数名词,be 动词用“is”。 如果句子的主语是复数名词,be 动词就用“are”。 如果有两个或两个以上的名词作主语,be 动词要和最靠近它的那个主语 在数上保持一致,也就是我们常说的“就近原则”。 Step 4 work on 3a. Look at 3a, pay attention to the quest

Learn by heart the following phrases, write them down on the book. 1)in the neighborhood 在附近地区2)go straight 直走 3)turn left向左转4)turn right向右转 5)on the left 在左边6)on the right 在右边 Step 6 work on 3b. Look at 3b. Ask the students to pay attention to the

    10、picture of 3a and write three sentences. Step 7 . Guessing game: Ask the students to the picture in 1a on page 43. Then ask students to name all the buildings in the picture. Have the students work in groups. One person chooses a building in the picture of 1a, but doesnt tell anyone which building i

    11、t is. The others ask questions like those in the activity 3c until they guess which building it is. Several students can take turns to choose the building, the others will guess.
