Emotion aims: Teach the students to love animals and to protect the environment . 二、学情分析 Aithough the students are in Grade Eight , they dont know much about English . They

    3、dont have enough vocabulary and expressions. They cant use the reading strategy well to finish the reading tasks. I need to improve their reading ability. This class I teach them a new reading strategy and help them finish the reading tasks.In order to let them be interested in English ,I will use g

    4、ames and competition methods,make the students master the knowledge better. 三、重点难点 Key points : 1. Master the new words and the reading strategy scanning. 2.     5、ts : Improve the students reading ability. 四、教学过程 第一学时 教学活动 Pre-reading Step 1 Greetings Step 2 Lead-in Ask the students to listen to a piece of music,and talk about animals. T: What show is the music about ? Ss: Its about Animal World. T: Ok,lets come to Animal World,what animal do you like best?Wh

    6、y? S1: I like dogs.Because they are kind. S2: I like birds,because they are smart. S3: . T: OK, very good. I like pandas best,because they are very cute,do you like pandas?What do you know about pandas?(What do they look like?Where are they produced?Where do they usually live?What food do they like
