9、pictures about Qomolangma. In the mean time, teach students new words. Step 3 While-reading Extensive reading Skim the passage and find the main idea of the passage. Then match each paragraph with its main idea. Meanwhile, introduce the reading strategy-skimming. Intensive reading 1. Students will r

10、ead paragraph 1 and underline the facts about Qomolangma and the dangers for climbers.Meanwhile, introduce the reading strategy-scanning.Then, watch a video about the dangers of Qomolangma. 2. As a “geography” teacher, I will introduce these great mountain climbers in this passage to students first.
