This topic is the first period of unit 9 in book 4 PSV, the text is about a story. This is an important lesson in our book , Such topic is related to our daily life, so it can

    3、 help the students to raise the learning interest, And it can also helpful to improve their society sense. It can help the students to attain four skills, that is listening.、Speaking、 Reading、 and writing. Therefore this lesson plays a very important role in our teaching material. Based on the New c

    4、urriculum standard, I will make the teaching objects as follows: The knowledge object is to enable the students to knowthestory,accordingtothestory,wecanunderstand a principle.No pains no gains.At the same time we can know an old saying.That is A young idler,an old beggar. The ability object is not

    5、only help the students to know the meaning of the story, but also to use it in our daily communication. The emotional object is to arouse their interest in learning English, at the same time, develop their sense of diligence. Based on the teaching objects, I make the teaching key points and difficul

    6、t points as follows: The teaching key points include the vocabulary and sentences. And the teaching difficult points is to cultivate their ability of self-learning and communicative ability. Next I will talk about analysis of students. As we all know, the pupils of grade 4 are very active and have c

    7、uriosity about new knowledge, they have learn English about 2years, Besides their abstract thinking is not fully developed, while their image thinking ability is comparatively strong, so their attention can be scattered easily. Then, I will introduce the part3 teaching methods. According to the New

    8、curriculum standard and the students physical and psychological characteristics, I will mainly use task-based language teaching methods.Situational Teaching Methods. Action methods to improve the students enthusiasm. I will design a lots of activities to make the students learn to play and play to l

    9、earn. Next, let me share the learning methods. The students can get comprehensive language using skills by autonomic learning, cooperating and exploring. The learning methods of this class are(00. With these methods, the students will be more active and will be fond of learning English . Ok so much

    10、for my teaching methods and learning methods now lets come to the most important part -teaching procetures It consist of six steps - lead inPre-reading. While-reading.After reading. summary and homework Step one is Lead in I will play the video and let the students do the actions together. the songs

    11、 name is The aim is to stimulate their spirit and consentrate their attention .At the same while ,this song can help them revise the contents we learned last class. After the music,I will ask them,Whats the music about? The students will answer:Its about seasons. They are spring.summer. Autumn.and w

    12、inter.After them . I will ask them Whats your favorite season? Why?Their mind will be leaded to our topic. If no one says the spring.I will ask Do you know whats my favorite season?Why? I will say I like spring.Because I like flowers.There are many flowers in the spring.Today here comes a new friend

    13、. step two Pre-reading. Now our class comes a new friend .He likes spring,too. Lets guess who is he? I give you some tips. The students answers. Yes,Its a squirrel. Lets know more about it. first:The squirrels name is Billy. (whats his name?) He has a big tail. (How about his tail?) He likes to eat

    14、nuts? (what does he like to eat?) He lives in the pine tree. (Where does he live?) Lets recall: Billy is a squirrel. He has a big tail. He likes to eat nuts. and he lives in the pine tree. In this way their mind can be leaded to the topic and it can prepared for the next teaching Step three is While

    15、-reading Billy appears in picture1:Lets have a look. What can you see in the picture 1 . I can see some flowers. A sun and a squirrel. what can you see in his face? A smile means he is happy. Spring is coming. Its warm. Billy likes spring. He sings and dances. Lets read this part: Invite a student t

    16、o read it Now here comes another friend. who is she? She is Betty. I want to know Whats her favorite season? What does Betty do in this season? You will find the answer. Who know the answers? Have a try. Dont be shy! You please. Lets come to our book. Look at picture 2 .What can you see in her face?

    17、 Its smile.It means she is happy,too Lets read; Summer is coming. Its hot. Betty likes summer. She sings and dances. Billy and Betty are all happy in the spring and in summer. After the autumn. I dont know what happened in picture3and4 .But now Winter is coming.Woo.Oh. What can you see in the pictur

    18、e5? Snow it means it is very cold!Right? Look Billy!Where is he? He is in the tree hole! Is he cold?no!Is he hungry?no! Winter is coming. It is very cold. Billy is at home. He is not cold. He is happy. What about Betty now? What can you see in the picture6? Betty is bad!She is not well. Whats going

    19、on? Lets see.Betty has no home. She is very cold. He is sad. Why could this happen? They are all happy at spring and summer! But winter comes!They are different! Billy is happy while Betty is sad! What happened in the autumn? Ok!Lets find the reason by yourselves! Give you 3minutes to read P3-4!Lets

    20、 go! Answer the questions Explain the contents. This is the reason. Billy is busy while Betty is playing. Ok!Guy!the story is over! I will assign a task .let the students to read the contents by themselves and finds out the rule of learning,by this way they can form a good habit have cooperative abi

    21、lity and self-learning consciousness Then in order to help them to remember these words I will use TPR methods and pictures show to make them understand the meaning For example i do the actions the students look and guess after that i will use Multimedia-computer to creat a real situation Look at th

    22、e screen and lead their mind into the real conversation Then explain each sentences focus on the main sentence. The purpose is to let them know the situation where we can use our conversation and help them to improve their communicative ability lastly i will play the tape-recorder and let the studen

    23、ts to look at their book .Follow the tape recorder and read it on the one hand it can consolidate the contents we learned on the other hand it can exercise their pronunciation Step four is After-reading. There are four measure. Measure one:After reading the whole story.I will read the whole story wi

    24、th the students.The purpose is to consolidate the story. Measure two:Number the pictures.This step can make them know the order of the story. Measure three is recall the story.Recall the key words of the story. Measure four is act the story. Invite some students to act the story out.All the story wi

    25、ll be act vividly. From these steps. the students can learn easily and happily,their self-confidence be enhanced their interest and enthusiasm will be stirred up whats more it can also improve their competence of observation cooperation and imitation. Step five is summary From the story , we can kno

    26、w a idea.That is No pains No gains. To think it deeply,we can know an old saying.That is A young idler,an old beggar. Step six is homework When they come back home ,telling their friends what we learned today and sharing the story with their parents. Thats all my teaching procedures Finally I will say something about my blackboard design.
