Pre-reading 阅读前活动 1. Learn the new words by phonics and sentences. 2. Guessing game: Guess the characters by words and pictures. Then introduce them. (little mouse deer, crocodile) 3. Introduce the cover of the story. ( title, writer, illustrator, publisher) Learn the new words, then know the characters and the cover. While-reading 阅读中活动 1. First reading: Listen to the first part of the story and answer the questions: Who? When? Where? What happens? 2. Try to understand the first part of the story. 3. Guess the mouse deers idea. 4. Second reading: Listen to the second part of the story and answer the questions. Questions help children understand the story. Guessing makes children interest in the story. Learn and read the story. 2 5. Third reading: Read the story together and do the actions. Post-reading 阅读后活动 1. Role play: Act out the story in groups. 2. Think and discuss the questions: A. Which one do you like best? Why? B. What can you learn from the story? 3. Learn the aims of the story. (Be smart when you are in danger.) 4. Discuss: Who will come next? 5. Talk about the “Reading Log”. Act out the story and learn the aims. Encourage the children to create a new story. Have a summary of the reading. Homework 家庭作业 1. Finish the “Reading Log”. 2.
