Module 1 Story Time课前简介 本单元的教学核心项目是“描述人的外貌” ,涉及到讨 论人的身高、体重、发型、面部特征及其着装等语言项目。 教材内容围绕着描述人的外貌特点展开,让学生学会谈论 人的身高、体重、发型、面部特征及着装特点,以人的外 貌特征为主线,兼顾交际功能的学习,以一种循序渐进的 生活化的学习程序,引导学生学会用英语介绍自己或他人 的外表特征。这些内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于 引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流,所以在学习活 动中,学生能通过交换对不同人物的描述及看法,促进学 生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进情谊。 1 Module 1 Story Time 一 教学目标 (一)语言知识目标: 1. 语法目标:be like/ What doeslook like?的问句及答句、第三人称单数动词在陈 述句中的运用、her 和 him 作为宾格的用法 2词汇:smart , rich, handsome 3. 交际用语:What doeslook like? He/She looks like、Which? (二)语言技能目标: 1能熟练地用英语进行对人外表特点的描述,并根据描述画出人像。 2能概括人物的外貌特征并根据人物特征推理出某一人物。 3能替别人进行新形象设计,能和合作伙伴互相交流,充分交换信息。 4能掌握本单元出现的表示人外观的词组及句型,并能结合实际生活进行灵活运 用,用这些词组及句型描述别人的外表,提高写作水平。 (三)情感态度目标: 1通过描述自己、同学、亲人、偶像的外貌,简单地表达自己的观点或好恶,学 会交换不同的看法,使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人。 2教育学生要多发现别人的优点,学会赞美别人,友好地描述别人的形象。 3学会赏识,懂得心灵美比外表美更重要。 4能在小组活动中积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成学习任务, 尽情享受学习 的乐趣。 (四)文化意识目标: 了解不同人的外貌和同一人的不同外貌,了解在中西方文化中表达自己的观点 2 时存在的差异,我们比较委婉,而西方人则比较直接些,对学生进行不同文化意识 的渗透。同时让学生在给自己或别人画像时提高绘画水平和审美意识;让学生了解 不同外貌作用的背景知识,实现跨学科交流的目的。 二、教学重难点: 通过学习语言材料,让学生获得运用所学的有关词汇、短语及句型,描述人的 外貌特征,并能结合实际生活进行灵活运用的能力。 三、教学设计:三、教学设计: Step I. Warming-up: (预备铃一响,科代表带领全班分角色背诵 U1、U2 课文) 1. Free talk: Say Hello to each other. (What day is it today? Whats the date today? 然后在黑板写) 2. First. Lets chant together. Ready? Go! 3. What are the key sentences in Module 1? 4. Excellent! Look at the TV. (1)Show PPT(林志颖) Q1: Look at the man. Hes Jimmy. Hes very handsome. (示单词). He looks young. What is he like? (Hes very kind. Hes has small eyes.) (2)Show PPT(张亮) Q2: What about this man? His name is Zhang Liang. He is a model. Hes very tall. What is he like? (Hes very friendly. Hes has small eyes and a big nose.) 3 (3)Show PPT(比尔.盖茨) And this man is Bill Gates. Hes very smart (示单词). He has lots of money. So he is rich. (示单词) (4)Show PPT(三个人) Q3: Which is handsome?(the most handsome) 5. Lets play a guessing game. Use the sentence:Whos the man/ lady with/in? Tips: Our schools teacher. Step II. Presentation: 1. This is my best friend.(贴图在黑板上) His name is Cop-Cop. He has three big eyes, a long neck and long arms. (边读句子边指向图的对应部位) 2.(引入课文) Aki takes Ben and Jiamin to visit Ding Dong. They will meet Cop-Cop. What will happen? Look at these questions first. Read them together: a. What colour is the grass? b. Whats Cop-Cops job? c. Whats Ding-Dacula like? 3.(看金太阳),Lets check the answer. (再次展示问题的 ppt)a. Its blue. b. Hes a policeman. c. He has long brown hair and big teeth. 4. Listen and repeat. 5. Read in group.(小组分角色读) 6. Act out the story.(一组里面的两个学生负责拉块布做背景,剩下的四个同学拿着角色的标 4 志扮演 story 里的四个人物,不会背的同学允许拿书读) Step III. Consolidation Look at this picture.(PPT)( The teacher gives the Ps an example with a picture of Anna. ) The girls name is Anna. She is six years old. She has long hair and a round face. Her eyes are small. And she has a small nose and a small mouth. She is short and thin. We all love her, because she is very kind and lovely. Do you know who is she? 2. Read it and tell True or False(PPT 出示练习) Step IV. Development: 1.根据老师的范文去进行仿写, (Now lets do some written exercises.)Draw a picture of a person you like and describe him or her. Can you do this? Lets write together. (播放音乐:一分 30 秒的时间画,两分 30 秒的时间写,) 1. 生生互评,最后老师评 I think group_ is the best. Step V. Sum up Lets Sum up, the key sentences(找学生读句子),Who can tell me? And what adj. words we learned?
