All the people were sad( 悲伤的). Sun Yatsen was the father of modern China(中国现代 之父). He was a great leader(领导人). He was against the emperor(反对帝制). He stayed in Japan and met Song Qingling. They became husband and wife in Japan. He came back to Guangzhou to work for the people. He freed the people slowly. And finally he started to change China(改变中国). Did you know? Lead in the topic: T: Today is a happy day . So many teachers come to our class. Welcome . Now, lets talk about people around us. 2. Review words and phrases describing people 1) Show a picture of Wang Yuan(王源) to elicit some adjectives to describe him. T: Who is he ? What is he like? If he is your friend, how will you introduce him? 2) Encourage Ss to classify the word cards they have and stick the ones that are suitable for Wang Yuan to the blackboard. Then lead to some structures describing people: Hes a He 2 has He is He is in 设计意图:在本环节,让学生把形容词和名词分类,巩固常用的形容词和名词,为之后 的写话练习做铺垫。 (二)Look and Say Show some pictures of some stars (Wang Zulan & Angelababy) and encourage Ss to use some phrases to describe them. 设计意图:用图片显示,形式很直观,学生能很好理解并用英语进行表达。此外,学生 写话习惯用简单句,完成本操练后,有助于强化学生用短语描述人物特征,引导学生通 过描述人物的句子找到具体的人物,能丰富学生写话的句型,提高学生说话和写话技巧, 培养学生流利连贯说话的能力。 (三)Write and Share实物投影 1. Example how to write a short passage to describe people around us. Ss show the photos of their family, friends or classmates. Discuss in groups and us some sentences to describe the people in the photos. Then show it to the class. 2. Write and check Ss writing. According to what they have talked about last step, encourage Ss to write it down with different structures to make a fluent passage. (四)Development 1. Read a passage about Dr Sun Yatsen 2.
