They have mastered the rules of present participle and can talk about their future plans in Simple Futrue Tense, but they might still have difficulty in making clear the structure of Simple Future Tense which is quite important for their understanding and future learning. LanguageLanguage skillsskills 语言技能语言技能: : Students will be able to communicate with each other about their extra-curricular activities and make a survey to find out students planning for their weekends. They may also show their language abilities in the development parts as they can learning some skills in detail reading. 3.3. AffectivesAffectives 情感目标情感目标: : Students will have great interest in communicating and sharing ideas about extra-curricular activities; Also, they will understand the importance of building up a healthy body; Moreover, they learn to discuss and cooperate with others in order to solve problems. Sing a song together (1 min) “We are going to the swimming pool after school” Arouse students interest and make them more active 2. Free talk (1min) Ask students about their willingness to extra-curricular activities. Lead students to think about their planning to do after class. 3. Fill in the blanks according to pictures (2min): Five sentences of Simple Future Tense are shown to students, which need them to discuss and find out the structure of Simple Future Students will find out the structure of Simple Future Tense through discussing and inducting. Tense. 4. Pair words (5 min): Make dialogues with the key sentences: A: What are you going to do after class? B: I am going to Let students work in pairs and learn the key sentences by themselves. 5. Guessing Game (2 min): Students look at the pictures presented and speak out the what the students are going to do after school. Practise the set sentences: They are going to do. 6. Exercises to cheek understanding Through three exercises of Simple Future Tense, students will be more familiar with the usage of SFT, and conclude the key words from these sentences: tomorrow, tomorrow+time, next+time 7. Survey: Ask other groups what they are going to do after class. Let students have chances to apply what they learn into daily survey which also improve their interest and confidence in using English. 8. Weekend is coming, what are you going to do at the weekend?Discuss in groups and answer the questions below: 1. Where are you going this weekend? 2. Who are you going with? 3.
