Step Two: Draw a conclusion The teachers guide students to sum up the basic rules of the judgment of transitive verbs, the non transitive verbs and the linking verbs: (l)An intransitive verb does not take an object, but can have a prepositional phrase after it. An object is

    3、not directly added to the back of the object, if you want to add the object to the back of the verb. (2)Atransitive verb takes an object. The object can be directly added to a transitive verb The be verb and the sense verb are the main linking verbs. (feel、 smell、 sound、 taste、 look) And the verb to

    4、 become (become、grow、turn、 get)。 Linking verb itself has meaning, but the meaning is not complete. My hobby is music.Mum is a teacher. (linking) Activity Two: To learn the five kinds of sentence structures Step One: According to the different characteristics of the three types of verbs used

    7、as the predicate, we can sum up English sentences into five basic sentence patterns. (1) 主语+ 谓语 (S+V)Subject (S) + verb (V) e.g. The temperature drops. SV The birds are flying.
