Thank youThank you ! 冀教版小学英语五年级下册第一单元 Lesson 5 What Are They Doing? 整体设计思路 本节课是冀教版小学英语五年级下册第一单元 Lesson 5 What Are They Doing? 本单元主要学习现在进行时态的表达方式。现在进 行时与我们日常交际息息相关,本课是现在进行时的进一步学习, 是本单元的重要组成部分。让学生在真实的情景中进行操练,培养 学生主动学习英语的兴趣和综合语言运用能力。 教学内容分析 本节课是第一单元第五课,本单元前四课基本都是围绕现在进 行时态展开的。本节课的情景是在火车上,李明,Jenny 两人闻声谈 论火车上的乘客正在做的事情,交谈中发现 Danny 已不在他们的视 线中,从而通过询问 Danny,解释了李明最初想知道 baby 在做什么 的问题。本课的主要学习内容是学生能够运用 What are they doing? They are .的句型引导学生正确使用现在进行时谈论他人正在做的动 作。根据教学文本及现在进行时运用于谈话中的特点,要求教师在 教学中要避免明知故问的活动设计,因此在这一课的教学过程中, 我采用多种方式引导学生能够在特定情境中运用现在进行时,提高 学生综合语言应用能力。 学生情况分析 本节课的授课对象是小学五年级的学生,他们已具备了一定的 英语口语表达能力和书写能力。本单元前几课都是围绕现在进行时 态展开,学生已经基本掌握现在进行时的单数的表达方式。本节课, 学生要学习现在进行时的复数的表达方式,能够巩固运用现在进行 时谈论他人正在做的动作。本节课内容与现实生活息息相关,让学 生能够更好的参与教学。同时该年级的学生已经初步具有了一定的 语言提炼,归纳和总结能力,但是还有待加强和提高。 教学目标 1. 学生通过课文学习,能准确运用现在进行时在情境中提问或 描述他人正在做的事情。 2. 学生通过模仿,表演课文对话。 3. 学生通过虚拟生活情境,能够运用现在进行时展开简单的交 流。 教学内容 1. 学习 What are they doing ? They are 并且巩固运用 What is he/she doing? He / She is 2. 理解文本内容并回答相应问题。 3. 表演课文对话。 教学重难点 教学重点:现在进行时复数表达形式 教学难点:在生活情境中正确使用现在进行时态 教学过程: Step 1Preparation 1. Greeting Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. Lets begin our English class. 2.Lets sing a song together. 设计意图:通过歌曲把学生带入英语课堂学习氛围,活跃课堂 气氛。 Step 2 New concepts 1.Review by asking 、guessing and answering with the questions of “Who is he/she? Whats he /she doing ?” T:Who is she/he? S:She /he is S:Who is she/he? S:She /he is T: Guess. Who is she? S:She is T:Maybe T:What are they doing?(出示学生围着玩卡片的遮挡图片,让学 生猜测) 设计意图:出示学生图片,有教师的问学生的答过渡到学生的问 学生的答。由完整的信息图片过渡到部分图片,由句型“Who is he/she?过渡到 Whats he /she doing ?” ,在猜测中激趣激欲,调动 学生积极性,引入新知。 2. Listen and try to find the answers T: Look, here are our friends. Danny, Jenny and Li Ming. But, where are they now? Ss:They are on the train. T:Yes,they are on the train. We can also say people on the train. What are they doing? Can you guess? Ss: T:Now lets listen to the tape and try to find the answers of the questions. “What are they doing?” The woman is( ). Danny is ( ). The man is ( ). Jenny is ( ). 3.Check the answers. S1: The woman is reading the newspaper. S2: Danny is playing with the baby. S3: The man is playing cards with his friends.
