He/She is doing sth. 并能运用此句型进行简单的交流。 3.在 I am doing sth.等句型的帮助下,进一步理解动 词现在进行时的用法。 TeachingTeaching StepsSteps 1.Warm-up (2 minutes) A song: What are you doing? (Watch a video) 2.Presentation A. T: Listen to some sounds carefully, and guess what they are doing now. Then ask the students to answer. Check their answers. (3 minutes) ( Write the key words on the blackboard. ) B. T: Look at some pictures carefully, and guess what they are doing now. Then ask the students to answer. Check their answers. (3 minutes) 2 ( Write the key words on the blackboard. ) 3. The present participle (3 minutes) T: Look at these words. How to add “ing” after these words? There are three rules. What are they? Can you find out? Ask the students to find out the rules. A. 1+1=2 , such as “play+ ing = playing”. B. Delete the silent “e”, then add “ing”: having, dancing. C. Double the last letter: swimming, running. 4. Practice Now lets make a turntable with the words. (5 minutes) Use guessing game to practice the present participle. A. You say start. I will start. You say stop. I will stop. Can you say the sentences? B. Who can help me to start the turntable? Which sentence do your group want to choose? Please write it down on your paper. Then read it together with your group members. 5. Watch a short video about “doing”. (2 minutes) 6. Look at some other pictures. Where are they? Can you guess? (2 minutes) 3 Now look and listen! They are on the train. 7. What are they doing now? (13 minutes) A. Listen! B. Repeat without seeing the text! C. Role-play in groups. D. Can you find the word “newspaper”? Its stress is on the first syllable. Please look at other words. Read after the audio. E. Can you find the word “behind”? Its stress is on the second syllable. Please look at the other words. Read after the audio. 8. Role-play (5 minutes) Imagine a place you are. Make a new dialogue with your group members. Then show it to us. 9. Sing a song to end the class: What are you doing?
