Healthy friendships can help teenagers avoid many of the negative characteristics that are associated with this period of life. Healthy friendships help teenagers feel accepted and confident and can pave the w

4、ay for the development of other positive social ties. Confidence and feeling accepted are necessary characteristics for a teens social and emotional development. When a teenager feels as if he is a part of a group, he is less likely to be negatively affected by bullying and other forms of rejection.

5、 The teenage years are often stressful. Having trustworthy, loyal friends is important to help teenagers deal with the stress and uncertainty that is a normal part of development. Friendships or peer groups help teenagers find healthy ways to have fun outside of home, school and work. Through compan

6、ionship, recreation and common goals, friendships promote fun and excitement. 9、ies that arent associated with work, chores or other responsibilities. Having a hobby can help your social life and create a bond with others. A hobby is something that you can frequently enjoy with other people. It helps you develop new skills. A hobby that you really dedicate your time to will lea

10、d you to build new skills. As you spend more time at your hobby you will become better and better at it. It enriches your life and gives you a different perspective on things. No matter what type of hobby you choose, you will definitely be exposed to new ideas. Hobbies help you grow in various ways,
