Teaching Procedures: Step 1 Warm up 1. Greetings. 2. Title: I like vacation. How about you? I usually have some plans for vacation. I like travelling. Step 2 Presentation 1. Show the learning aims-three tasks. 2. Show some pictures. This is Beijing. I went there by train.(Hold a picture of train and stick it on the blackboard.) To show the phrases by bus, by ship, by plane in the same way. Practice to read the phrases in some different ways. 3. To present the drills. Show a map and say: Here is Tibet. Im going to Tibet. Do you want to go with me? How to go there? Write the target on the blackboard. -How are you going to. ? -Im going by. . Step 3 Group work Work in groups. The leader of the group ask each student: How are you going to.? Other students answer the question according to the distance of the place. Ask some pairs to present their work. Step 4 Summary and homework Ask some students to say what they have learned in this class. Homework: Copy each phrase six times. Copy the target on the first picture five times.
