T: Is there a living room in my new home? S1: Yes, there is. Present the sentences. 2.Present: a dining room, a bedroom. Talk about the rooms and present the new words. Put the picture cards on the board. And let Ss say after the teacher. 3.Point to the picture and ask. T:Is there a dining room in my new home? S2: Yes, there is. T: What can I do in my new dining room? S3: You can eat in the dining room. 4. Read the new words. 5. Use pictures to practice the words by pairs. Step 3 Practice 1.Mechanical drills(机械操练) 1)T: Listen to the tape and have Ss repeat. Play the tape and have Ss repeat each phrase. 2) Point to the other pictures at random and have Ss say the phrases. Meaning practice(意义操练) 1)Guessing game. T: I can eat in it. Guess! What is it?
