In twenty years time, maybe there wont be any schools! 二十年以后，或许一所学校都没有了！ (1) in twenty years time 相当于 in twenty years，意为“二十年以后”。在英 语中，“in+一段时间”表示“一段时间之后”，常用于一般将来时。提问 “in+一段时间”用 how soon。 My father will go to Bei

12、jing in two weeks. 我父亲将在两周之后去北京。 How soon will they come back? 他们多久就会回来？ In three days. 三天以后。 (2) 辨析：maybe 与 may be maybe 也许；大概 副词，通常位于句子开头作状语 may be 可能是 may 是情态动词，表示推测；be 是动词原形，两者构成谓语，位 于句中 Maybe Miss Li is angry with us. Miss Li may be angry with us. 或许李老师生我们的气。 (3) there be 句型的一般将来时的结构为：There wil

13、l be主语其他. 在变 为否定句时，直接在 will 后加 not，will not 可缩写为 wont；变一般疑问句 时，将 will 提到句子开头。 There will be many computers in the classroom. 教室里将会有许多电脑。 There wont be clean water in 100 years time. 一百年之后将没有干净的水。 Will there be a basketball match next Friday afternoon? 下星期五下午将有一场篮球比赛吗？ Yes, there will. / No, there wo

Computers wont be able to do that. 计算机将无法胜任这一点。 be able to 意为“能，会”，后面跟动词原形，可用于多种时态，而 can 只 用于一般现在时或一般过去时中。 Are you able to swim? = Can you swim? 你会游泳吗？ Will robots be able to do everything? 机器人将能做所有的事情吗？ 4. Teachers wont use chalk on a blackboard and students wont use pens and pap
