Shows some pictures and ask Ss to work in groups to describe the pictures using the sente

    4、nce pattern they have learned last class. 2. Select some groups and ask them to write their sentences on the blackboard. 3. Let them read their sentences one by one, then give possible answers and review what they have learned last class. 【设计意图】通过看图说话,复习上节课所学的知识,做到温故知新。 Step 2 Pre-reading New words

    5、Show pictures and let Ss guess the words. Then read the new words together. 【设计意图】学习新单词,为学习对话做铺垫。音、义、形相结合的方式讲授可以帮助学生 加深对目标词汇的理解与记忆。 Activity 1 1. Ask Ss to work in pairs. Tell them to look at the two pictures and describe them with the words in the box. 2. Ask some Ss to describe the pictures to the

Ask Ss to choose four classmates and write sentences to describe them like the example, but without including

It was great to hear from you, and I cant wait to meet you. cant wait to do sth. 意为“等不及或迫不及待做某事” 。如: He cant wait to go home. 他迫不及待地要回家。 I cant wait to see that idea become true. 我迫不及待的希望看到这个想法变成现实。 2. I hope you will know me from my photo when I arrive at the airport. 本句中 hope 后接宾语从句,

    13、 省略引导词 that。 宾语从句中又含有 when 引导的时间状语从句。 【辨析】 arrive, reach 与 get 三者都表示到达。但是用法有所不同。 (1) 后面接地点名词: arrive in +大地点(国家、城市等) arrive at + 小地点(村、镇、车站、机场等) get to + 地点名词 reach + 地点名词 She finally arrived in New York. 她终于到达纽约。 We arrived at the station as the train was leaving. 我们到达车站时火车正要离开。 What time does this

    14、 train get to New York? 这辆火车什么时间到达纽约? Go right on until you reach the church. 直走直到你到达教堂。 (2) 后面接地点副词: arrive / get / reach + 地点副词 When did you arrive / get / reach / home yesterday? 昨天你什么时候到家的? 3. How do you feel about coming to China? 句型“How do you feel about?”意为“你认为怎么样?” ,about 是介词,后面跟名词、 代词或动名词,

    15、用来询问对方对某人或某物的看法, 回答时要说出自己对某人或某物的具体 看法或意见。类似句型:How do you like? / What do you think of? How do you feel about this film? 你觉得这部电影怎么样? 4. I feel nervous when I speak Chinese, but Ill be fine in a few days. 本句是一个复合句。when 意为“当时候” ,引导时间状语从句;but 意为“但是” ,引导 一个表示转折关系的句子。 It is raining heavily, but I go to sc

    16、hool as usual. 虽然雨下得很大, 但我还是像平常一样去上学。 【设计意图】重难点讲解,帮助学生巩固本课知识点,加深理解与记忆。 Activity 7 1. Ask Ss to write a message to their pen friend and describe themselves. 2.
