(2) Each group selects a group leader to show their possible answers. 2. Look and fill in the blanks. (1) Let Ss read the sentences, look at the pictures, and fill in the bl

(2) Check the answers with the whole class. 【设计意图】通过填空和回答问题的形式把学生们带入今天的新知学习。 Step 2 Pre-listening New words Learn the new words together. 【设计意图】学习新单词,为学习对话做铺垫。运用音、形、义相结合的方式讲授单词,加 深对新单词的理解与记忆。 Activity 1 1. Explain the requirements to Ss and make sure they know them clearly. 2. Tel

    5、l Ss to read the words in the box and look at the four pictures. 3. Play the recording. Ask Ss to listen and number the pictures individually. 4. Play it again for Ss to check their answers. 5. Check answers as a class, discussing what the people said in each situation. 【设计意图】通过听力热身,激活学生们的知识储备并预测对话内

    6、容,迅速进入听的状态。 Activity 2. 1. Ask Ss to read the incomplete sentences and listen to the recording again. 2. Ask Ss to complete the sentences and then compare answers with their desk partner. 3. Your pizza looks so nice. 本句是主系表结构,即:主语系动词形容词。 其中 look 是系动词,意思是“看上去,看来” ,后面常接形容词作表语。 与 look 有类似用法的形容词还有:sound(听起来) ,feel(摸起来) ,smell(闻起来) ,taste (尝起来)等。 例如:It

    11、doesnt feel comfortable. 它摸起来不舒服。 2. Im afraid I dont like cheese. be afraid 后面接 that 引导的宾语从句,也可省去 that,意为“恐怕” ,表示遗憾、惋惜 或因不愿意做某事儿有意让口气显得缓和。 例如:Im afraid that he cant come. 恐怕他不能来了。 3. Well, my chocolate cookies are done now. 句中的 be done 表示“做好了,完成了” 。 例如:I am nearly done. 我差不多做完了。 The beds are done.

    12、床铺都整理好了。 4. Shall I get the sugar? 句型“Shall I ?”,意为“我好吗?” ,说话人主动提出要做某事,尤其是主动提出帮 助时的常用语。 例如:Shall I get some water for you? 我去给你弄点水喝吧? Shall I help you to carry the box for you? 我帮助你搬这个箱子吧? 5. . are you sure thats sugar? be sure 为固定短语,意为“确信,相信” , 其后接 that 引导的宾语从句。 例如:I am sure tomorrow is Bettys birt

    13、hday. 我确定明天是贝蒂的生日。 【设计意图】 在接触语境之后重点讲解语言知识点, 帮助学生加深对于知识点的理解与记忆。 Activity 6 1. Play the recording and ask Ss to underline the words the speaker stresses. 2. Check the answers as a class. 3. Play the recording again and tell Ss to listen and repeat chorally. 4. Ask some Ss to read the sentences. Check

    14、that they are using an intonation pattern and dont sound flat. Activity 7 1. Work in pairs. Ask and answer about the things in the box. Do you like bananas? Yes, I do. They taste delicious.
