Which planet is the fourth planet from the sun? 设计意图:通过呈现八大行星的英文歌曲视频,让学生在欣赏歌曲的同时,初步了解宇宙相 关知识。再通过问题的讨论与思考,进一步引出本模块话题,激发学习兴趣

    4、。 Step Pre-listening New words 1. T let Ss learn the new words. T: Firstly, lets learn the new words together. 2. T encourages Ss to say something about these words. e.g. earth T: The Earth is a planet and it goes around the Sun. It is a beautiful blue and white ball when it is seen from space and i

Have you heard the latest news? latest adj. 最新的,最近的,最迟的(常放在名词前作定语) latest 也可作 adv. 意为“最迟地;最近地”。 4. Has it arrived yet? 【拓展】arrive, reach 与 get 的区别: arrive 不及物动词,arrive i

    13、n+大地点,arrive at+小地点 reach 及物动词,reach+地点名词 get 不及物动词 get to+地点名词 【拓展】just, already 与 yet 的区别: just 意为“刚刚,正好” ,常用于肯定句,放在 have/has 之后,过去分词之前。 already 意为“已经,就” ,常用于肯定句,放在 have/has 之后,过去分词之前。 yet 意为“还(没) ,尚(未) ” ,常用于疑问句或否定句,用于句末。 5. So have they discovered life on Mars? 【拓展】discover, find out, invent, lo

    14、ok for 与 find 的区别: discover 发现。表示“偶然”或“经过努力”发现客观存在的事物、真理或错误。 find out 查明;弄清楚。强调经过一番努力或询问而查明某事或真相。 invent 发明。强调创造出以前从未存在过的新事物。 look for 寻找。强调寻找的过程。 find 找到。强调寻找的结果和能力。 6. Lots of scientists are working hard in order to send astronauts to Mars one day. in order to 意为“为了” ,表示目的,其后接动词原形,否定结构为 in order n

    15、ot to。 设计意图:学习掌握本课重要知识点。 Activity 4 1. Ss do Activity 4 and write the answers on the books. And then show the answers out. 2. T checks the answers with the whole class. Activity 5 1. Ss read these sentences silently and predict which words should be stressed. 2. Ss listen to the recording and check

    16、if their predictions are right or wrong. 3. Ss listen again and repeat. Activity 6 1. Team racing T: We have known much about space travel in this class. Now I will divide the whole class into two teams. Two teams will have a race. The team that first gives a correct sentence gets one point. 设计意图:通过
