Teaching important and difficult points: 1.Listen, read ,say and write the following words: tomato, chicken, meat ,noodles, dumplings, soup, rice, vegetables ,fruit ,hamburger ,hotdog ,pizza ,fish, donut ,water, pop, juice,. 2. Use the words above to practice the sentences. -What would you like for lunch? -Id like 3. Let the Ss tell the different meanings of the words: tomato / potato, pork / mutton. Teaching aids: PPT, tapes, color chalk, Pre-learning(预习设计) 1. Look at the pictures on P28 and listen to the tapes of this part. 2. Try to ask and answer the sentences: What would you like for lunch ? Id like some___________. Teaching process: Step 1 Warm-up 1. Listen to and follow the song : What do you have for lunch? 2. Let the Ss look at the PPT pictures: How delicious the dishes are! And ask the Ss: What would you like for lunch? 3. Look at the PPT pictures and guess What they are/it is.? (banana, noodles ) Step 2 Prsentation Task 1 Lets learn 1. Look at the PPT picture and guess: vegetables Let the Ss know the pl form of this word: vegetables 2. Read and repeat the word. tomato, chicken, meat ,noodles, dumplings, soup, rice, vegetables ,fruit ,hamburger ,hotdog ,pizza ,fish, donut ,water,pop,juice,. 3. Write the words three to five times on ones workbook. Let the Ss pay attention to the writing rules of English. 4.Repeat with other words: 5. Read and repeat other words: cabbage, pork, mutton 5. Practice in pairs: some _______. Let the Ss know the difference between the following two groups: Group 1: tomato, chicken, meat ,noodles, dumplings, soup, rice, vegetables ,fruit ,hamburger ,hotdog ,pizza ,fish, donut ,water,pop,juice,. Group 2: Task 2 Pair work : tomato, chicken, meat ,noodles, dumplings, soup, rice, vegetables ,fruit ,hamburger ,hotdog ,pizza ,fish, donut ,water,pop,juice,. 1. Read the sentences several times after the teacher: What would you like for lunch? Id like some_______. 2. Practice between the teacher and one student who is better at English. 3. Practice the conversation in pairs. The teacher should help the Ss who may have difficulty in saying the sentences. 4. Share the Ss conversation in public. Select several pairs to say the conversation and othes listen and check. (During this part, the Ss say one word at first and then two or three words together. This design obeys the rules of practing: from the easy one to the hard one. ) Step 3Time-limited exercise 1. Read and match A. I like pork, beef and Chicken. And I dont like tomatoes, cabbages or eggplant. I dont like doing sports. B. I like healthy(健康的) food. I like cabbages with pork, carrots with mutton and eggs with tomatoes. And I never choose food(从不挑食). And I like doing sports. C.I like all kinds of vegetables, such as green beans, cabbages, tomatoes and eggplant. And I dont like meat. Usually I eat meat once a month.
